But I beg to dis agree I think Binay is the best if he will become president of the Philippines after Aquino. Both of them took law and pass the bar . Binay got masters degree in law and farther his studies in public administration. He mastered taxation and land reform and became a teacher on these fields. He also taught political science. Marcos went on with his political ambition. Marcos accumulated wealth by robbing the government. Binay also done that and still doing it now. Marcos got numbers of economic development projects but not enough money since he build up his military power. So he borrowed money to international lenders. Our debt rose from $360 million in 1962 to $28 billion in 1986 making the Philippines the most indebted countries in Asia. The Marcos family and their cronies looted so much wealth from the country that to this day investigators have difficulty determining precisely how many billions of dollars were stolen. It is estimated that Marcos alone stole at least $10 billion from the Philippine treasury. The Swiss government, initially reluctant to respond to allegations that stolen funds were held in Swiss accounts, has returned US$684 million of Marcos’ wealth.
