Whats it like to participate in the International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP)? You can follow Mika Vanhanen on his #IVLP experience from DC to Hawaii as he travels with 18 other environmental experts from around the world to learn about environmental protection and biodiversity conservation. Launched as a program by the U.S. Department of State in 1940 – and administered with IIE since 1972 – IVLP connects current and emerging foreign leaders with their American counterparts through short-term visits to the United States.
