Whats storytelling about? Its grassroots-- anyone can do it (and do it well). It builds connection (you get to know your neighbors). When it works well, it makes everyone think, just a little bit more, about what it means to be alive. Storytelling is art you can be a part of. Were bringing in David Sedaris to headline StoryWorthyWeek because hell give you an idea about how funny storytelling can be and how far you can push. But the real core of storytelling is our weekly, free open workshop, where regular people get together and tell stories, starting with lines like Im not a very good storyteller or Im not sure this is a story but then make your heart explode for them.
