Whats the hype about Lala? I would include Yasir Shah any day over Afridi in ODIs. Afridi takes 1 wicket a match on average and gives about 5 runs an over which means 1 for 45 runs on average which doesnt make him an exceptional bowler. We need someone like Mushtaq Ahmed in Australian conditions who can take as many wickets as Mushi did in 92. Afridi is also more of a liability in field now; hardly even chases the ball to the boundary. And if self obsessed 16 years model superstar ball eater is considered as a useful lower order batsman. He is far from that. He fails 9 out of 10 innings. Good enough to keep him out. Now, lets review #7 batsmen/all rounders playing for other countries in ODIs - R Jadeja for India - D Miller for South Africa - J Buttler for England - L Ronchi for New Zealand - D Sammy for West Indies - B Haddin for Australia - Perera for Sri Lanka While our brainless Lala goes and tries to send every ball out of the ground just for the galleries pleasure; the other useful cricketers try to play for their country and try finishing it off. Enough of non sense. Time to start a new era where players play for their performance not on the basis of player power or media blackmailing. - Basit Subhani
