Whats the prognosis on this? Is it hooked up right? It worked at first but then it quit after a couple hours; when I turned it on. Can the unit not stand 48 volts? I was told that it was well within the parameters of the meter. Before it quit I was getting readings of well over 1000w on acceleration. As you can see; my hot wire is hooked into the hot wire of the battery and not the smaller orange; high voltage wire in the control wire. Is that too much? How could it measure everything if it wasnt hooked up to full power? But maybe it just needs a little power so it can measure through the negative wire. I couldnt find clear instructions from the supplier and had to ask my friend Hemdan Dizon how to hook it up. Do I just have to program it? I hate to spend another aprox $35.00 for software to add to the $90.00 Ive already paid for the meter? Then; is it not going to work anyway?
