Whats this new trend/ habit/ fashion/ new level of laziness or whatever it is of handing money over for a purchase that is screwed up into an unrecognisable mush of paper? Can I get (that drives me mad) a Fosters (or whatever) followed by hand rummaging in pocket whilst staring vacantly into space, then handing over a note so mangled and screwed that its hardly recognisable as cash and pretty nearly needs ironing before itll lay flat in the till. Why? Is it laziness? Is it contempt for both the money and the poor sod behind the bar who has to flatten it out? Or is it a conspiracy to make retail business owners stand in the bank even longer whilst the poxy machine that checks the deposit vomits out note after note because it cant cope with mangled money. Please, buy a wallet.
