Whats your worst nightmare? I dont know, I have a few, but one of the worst is surely something happening to me and my dogs being disheveled, and scared, and displaced, and possibly worse if I didnt have a plan in place. Well, fortunately I have made my friends and family (thats right, two groups because I have a few more dogs than most) promise me my dogs will NEVER be in that position. Which brings me to this. Bandit and Missy… I probably dont even need to tell their story because you can look in their eyes and tell something is wrong, very wrong. They were loved and adored their whole 7 years on this planet until the day their dad didnt come home. He was in a fatal car accident leaving this gorgeous brother and sister pair of purebred longhaired German Shepherd Dogs behind. They were making do with neighbors dropping by and feeding them, but that wasnt good for, well, forever. So now they sit shaking and confused at Clayton County Animal Control. Let me apologize here, the Releash motto is only happy posts here and damn do we try! We shield as much as we can so we can just get these dogs adopted, but this story wouldnt be fair to these two if we left this out. So for today, we throw our motto out the window, tell their story, and just pray someone will adopt them. Quick. From the hell they are waiting in. They did NOTHING to be there, and their owner probably wants nothing more than to see his two loves find a new forever home. What we know: Missy is spayed, Bandit is not altered (but should be upon adoption). Neither showed signs of aggression when they were put on a catch pole and put into the animal control truck. We dont know much else. Please go meet them, they are still considered owner surrenders meaning, no owner is coming to look for them, so they dont have much time… For any questions about these two email our amazing match coordinator Dawn, who called me in tears (literally) about these two asking for us to do what we can. And we hope this is enough… Dawn@releashatlanta 1396 Government Cir Jonesboro, GA (770) 477-3509 Dawn Meier
