What’s Eating Away At You??? For many individuals, the issue of releasing weight is far from going on a diet. If indeed it was the case of simply going on a diet, for the vast majority of you it would be easier. However, there are many underlying factors to consider which do not involve dieting. Finding your key to releasing weight Becoming aware, of past or present experiences will relieve you of untold stress that dieting may bring. You may very well have unresolved issues in your life both in the past and the present. Until those issues are tackled your weight issue may remain. So, what’s eating you?….. Is it fear, anger, shame, injustice, depression, stress, heartbreak, pressure, pride, unforgiveness, protection, exhaustion. injustice, judgement. Very often you can overlook the very emotion that holds you in the past. Until you can release the fear, stress, injustice in your life you continue to look for something outside of yourselves thinking it will make the difference. Turn within and ask yourself simple questions by allowing the answers to come to you “I am fearful of….. I am heartbroken because……., I am stressed about……. , I feel I need protection from…….”. The answers you receive from your conscious and subconscious mind may surprise you when you are in a state of allowing. People and situations you may have thought you dealt with or think you are presently dealing with sufficiently will come to the forefront of your mind. This is a good opportunity to lighten your emotional load by writing your answers down on paper. Completing this exercise will assist you in releasing the emotions that are keeping you stuck where you are at present? The next course of action when you have completed the above exercise is to ask yourself what would I like to have happen instead. Asking this question opens your conscious and subconscious mind to look for new possibilities. Letting go of the old emotion by looking at new possibilities, new experiences creates a new outcome. An outcome that has been well overdue. Becoming aware of what’s eating you will bring you one step further to your desired healthy mind and body.
