When Gerald and I met we were just entering middle school (11yrs old). He stole my first kiss in seventh grade, but then life took a different route for us, I was skipped to 9th grade and didnt see Gerald for 2 years until my mom switched me to a different school, because all the trouble Lissa and me were getting into, LOL! Gerald and I didnt become a couple right away because I didnt want to have a boyfriend until after I graduated, but one day Gerald being insistent told me that I was going to fall in love with him eventually. On May 3rd, 1996 he brought me a red rose and asked me to be his girlfriend, I liked him a lot and broke my own rule and said yes. Then I received an acceptance letter from OSU (the university of my dreams) and decided that I would follow my dreams and move away. But God had other plans, Gerald asked me to marry him. So we started to plan a wedding, a wedding that was not meant for that time in our life due to being confused in my life and scared to break a promise to God and because I wanted to get married in my church, which Gerald did not belong to any religion. We started a family early on in our lives had our daughter 07/97 and got married through the Justice of the Peace instead in 12/1997, since then we have had our ups and down but our love never weaken it only got stronger; we got awesome news that we were going to have our 2nd child in 01/2005 but she (Violet) ended up going up to heaven instead of in our arms, Gerald was the strong one and between him and Valerie they both pulled me out of a depression, in order to help cure me he packed up everything and we moved out of the only state hes ever lived in and we went to Ohio. Once there God sent us many Blessings, lilG 11/2006, a home-business in 06/08 that grew so big until we had to open up shop in 2012 but then life took first spot in life and God became last, we forgot the most important thing That through GOD all these accomplishments happened, but God never abandoned us even though we abandoned Him. God protected me when my bakery got robbed 4 times, God never let those people hurt my family or me, enough was enough and we decided to lose everything before we lost our souls. God had a plan for us, we just needed to Trust Him, with the help of God, We moved to Florida 07/2013, Gerald shortly after started to become faithful in our religion, and God put the most beautiful Church SacredHeart Parish PinellasPark in our lives, where both priest there guide you stay on the right path to God; Fr. Scottston gave one on one classes to Gerald so that he could become Catholic. Gerald went through a process of many months and received all his sacraments in 04/14, We got our marriage con-validated through Our Church May 03, 2014 exactly 18 years later! I Love How God put my life partner in my life since we were young, Gerald is truly my best-friend, the Best person that God could have put in my life.
