When I First starting using a computer in the early 90s I remember Vividly the very first chat room I entered, this guy started a conversation about coming out and a young man who had been Previously flirting Wildly with me started, Slowly to begin a Much more serious vein of conversation, pretty soon he ask if Id join him in a private chat, at the time I didnt even know what that was, but I agreed after he explained it to me, once there, he proceeded to tell me HE was gay and in Agony about telling his parents that Contrary to being the Handsome Lady killer his family knew him as He was in reality the Handsome Guy killer, we talked into the VERY late evening until he finally ask if he could Call me..I was hesitant , but on finding out he was very near one of my own sons age and Clearly in a Great deal of pain, I thought of my own sons and HOPED IF they Ever ( God Forbid ) had a problem they were afraid to share with ME they would find Someone who would at Least , Listen. We talked ALL night, into the early morning, and in the end he Promised me, No more thoughts of Suicide and that he Would THAT day, call his Mother and TELL her, Something she Probably already knew, as I had told him. I think of him often and Pray for his happiness
