When I first started running with The Lord (back in 1999) I started experiencing a LOT of God-stories in and thru my life....basically direct, unmistakeable, miraculous answers to prayer. Somebody near and dear to me made the comment Mark, thats the kind of thing The Lord does when you first start walking with him..after that, He doesnt do things like that because you mature in The Lord. I didnt buy that then, and I certainly dont buy that now! I know that persons heart, and where they were coming from, but I honestly believe thats the thought process of someone who has stopped pursuing and settled for mediocrity in their relationship with The Lord. That person these days is on-fire in their relationship with The Lord, and God is using them in mighty ways:) I believe whole-heartedly in Jeremiah 29:13 You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. Our Heavenly Father WANTS to be pursued. Dont settle! Keep running toward Him and see what happens. Ive got to say....Im more in love with Christ today than Ive ever been! God continues to amaze me, stretch me, and rip me out of my comfort zone. Is it worth it? You bet!! :)
