When I last looked at the Constitution, pertaining to law, Nobody - TopicsExpress

When I last looked at the Constitution, pertaining to law, Nobody is above it. How come there are no laws for the citizen to protect themselves against those civil servants who made an oath to protect, practice and ensure others do not violate them. I am not just referring to the verdict pertaining to Michael Brown but the Police culture and society has been violating many laws, civil liberties, taking life and we are supposed to just remain to be law abiding. Where are we to turn to when the people in the judicial as well as areas of law fail us, what then. Just have faith and hope things change. What has transpired in Missouri is a result of leaders failing to do what is right for many years. A community left in peril and this was bound to happen, the world has been watching for many years seeing the escalation of force, racism continue to brew. It is damning when people condone and are naive to believe American life is peachy, when it is not. As great of a nation as it is, America has plenty of work to do when it comes to tolerance, acceptance and respecting others not just in the Americas but on a global scale. As the holidays are upon us,l we all need to reflect and look at the legacy and impact we have on society, as well as our own families. Not a day goes by that I do not worry for my loved ones even though I am not religious I do pray for a better society..
