When I navigate to this page, I cast my eye to the right side and just check the membership. Very pleased and encouraged to watch it grow minute by minute. 12,000+ people represents a strong and persuasive voice! Welcome one and all! This is a safe place to discuss and learn about our democratic process and distinguish fact from fiction in the popular press. Ive been so impressed with the level of discussion here - it is, for the most part, mature and responsible with corrections or opposing opinions given out in a positive and supportive manner. Kudos to the mods! I am really, really encouraged to see political discussion happen here like Ive never seen it in BC before (but seems to happen so casually and easily over a beer in any pub in the UK - talking politics isnt dirty or dangerous. Its how we learn and how we protect our democracy!). Perhaps something real is happening here.....
