When I read a really good status update - what an absolutely inadequate and infelicitous term! - my first reaction is to want to share it. But often I find that the friends to whose notice I wish to bring those updates are also the friends of the original writer/post-er, and likely to have read those updates already. So I only share good posts either when these are posted by people with whom I have very few friends in common, or when I am too impressed not to do it, nonetheless. Share, in my system, is the equivalent of what some Facebookers call superlike.
