When I read back what I wrote a little over 12 months ago it brings back that terror of the nightmare that my family was living! A lot has happened in the last 12 months; my son went to jail and served three months which he believes saved his life, my son was released early January and we were on a wild roller coaster for a few months but he remained ICE free until mid March when her relapsed! I cant even say how this made me feel I think every emotion possible went through my body, we didnt dwell on the relapse we let it go and kept moving forward. Im writing this today to offer some hope! My son still has a lot of things that he is working on and he has made the commitment to recover! he started with day by day goals to stay clean and now he is seeing his future and he is making plans for himself and his family, I can see aside of this boy that I thought was gone forever; his infectious smile his brutal honest and his love within is beaming for all the world to see, my son I am so proud of you and the person that you are xoxo
