When I say religion does harm you chuckle to yourself and say, what could he possibly mean? Well I dare you to listen to this podcast and tell me that I am wrong. It doesnt matter if you are Lutheran, Baptist, Pentecostal, SDA, Mormon, Jehovahs Witness, Church of Christ, Church of God 7th day or some non-denominational cafe church...... Religion does harm. Its practice causes harm. You can dance around the issue all you want by asserting that its about relationship with christ but in the end, its the I AM of John 8:58 which is the same I AM of Exodus and Genesis and Ezekiel. The god of incest and rape and torture and child murder..... The god who calls on women to submit themselves to their husbands without concern for their own health or value for their own lives.....to bear children even unto death, if it is gods will.
