When I see people wigging out over their favorite NFL team trading - TopicsExpress

When I see people wigging out over their favorite NFL team trading players during off season and free agency, I really question their knowledge of the game and if they are true NFL fans themselves. Like do u guys even watch the games religiously?? I personally make it my goal to not miss ONE game every season. I do what I have to to make sure I see every single game. Which means I see every play....and I pay attention to who makes plays and who doesnt. First people wig out that Chicago didnt resign Hester (I been saying for a few years now to get him outta Chicago). Now they wanna wig out that Peppers went to Green Bay. Listen NFL fans...teams get rid of players for one reason, and one reason only: theyre not producing results. They get old...lose heart and they simply arent in their prime anymore. Contracts are for producers. Peppers produced absolutely nothing last year but one memorable INT (and maybe a few sacks). I DONT KNOW ABOUT YOU...but this is the NFL...I expect MULTIPLE plays to be produced per game per player...BIG PLAYS TOO....ESPECIALLY the Playmakers making tens of millions. NOT a few dinky plays per season. Peppers is old...hes 34 years old...WAAAAY past the prime of any DE. He doesnt yield results anymore and last year proved that. You can talk about loyalty all you want...but if youre offered a $30/million contract for the next 3 years at the age of 34 when youre well past your prime...YOUD TAKE IT TOO!!! I dunno bout you...but it would take my mom over 300 years of working as a waitress for her to even come close to what peppers would make in 1 year in Green bay. The REAL idiots here are Green Bay for wasting all that money....NOT Peppers or the Chicago Bears. Chicago let go a player not producing results anymore, Julius Peppers continues to eat lobster and pop bottles of Champagne in the club...and the Packers pay big money for a broken toy with no batteries.
