When I see these police officers, I. Think about how many times I have been confronted as a teacher and how we are trained to de-escalate situations. We have no guns we cant touch the kids so. We use our WORDS to handle many situations! Lets start there! The police are bringing on many of these situations where people are threatened and the react negatively. How about building the relationships in these communities where there seem to be issues with the police! All of these situations we hear about have to make you think about other ways to improve what we are seeing. This violence needs to STOP!
