When I started my journey to become a well-known rapper it was all about getting my name out there and being recognized for my talent so I can be able to take my mother out the hood and buy her a big house and give her the worry-free life she deserves, some of my main goals was to represent for my bronx borough, uplift my dominican heritage to new heights, and bring my loyal team with me on the ride, but today as a man, I realize that my journey has become bigger than just my individual goals, my journey has become fuel for others around me to chase their dreams, whether you hate me or love me, my journey has inspired others to see beyond the hood and towards a life they can be proud of, when I get messages like the one below it shows that my hard work & relentless efforts not only inspires others, but it also makes a difference in their lives, so these words are my thank you to one of my biggest fans for writing me this letter and its my way of showing my most loyal fans how much I appreciate them, this special s/o is for you bro Oliver Delgado, you deserve the recognition and I know in my heart that youre going to make it real far in life, just keep up the honest work and keep striving to be the best you can be! J-Jon youre my favorite rapper hands down. I dead look up to you man, I dont listen to Kendrick, ASAP, or any of them rappers because their music dont interest me, but your music I can relate too, your music moves me. You speak the realest shit ever, especially the line you said in your 0 to 100 freestyle about you carry a weapon because you know too many young people that will kill just to prove they about that life, I can relate to that because I know a lot of people dislike me because Im known with my dancing skills and a lot people dislike you because you the realest rapper out. You remind me so much of myself, a lot of people hate on you and you just dont let it affect you at all, you keep striving and heading to the top just like what Im doing. Your music makes me get away and just release all the problems and suffering I go through on a daily. I really hope you make it J-Jon.
