When I was a kid, my little sister was a tyrant. She was feisty, - TopicsExpress

When I was a kid, my little sister was a tyrant. She was feisty, sarcastic, bold, brave, and somewhat evil. She was a very scary tiny human, even though I was her older sister. If you messed with her, she could bite you with the fervor of a thousand gods. If she wanted something, she took it. Proof of this is from when she wanted to hold my pet gerbil and I said no.. She grabbed him with all that fervor I was telling you about and ripped his tail clean off. Only the bloody bone remained. (Terrifying.. right?) And her feistiness has left me permanently scarred. Being the studious kid that I was, I was trying to do my homework one night. Little miss Kayli wanted to PLAY, and she jumped and sat on me in her kid-like candor. The pencil I was holding punctured my leg, and I still have the blue pencil mark on my thigh to prove it. But, as I look back on all those years with my terrifying younger sister, I realize that those qualities are what I absolutely ADORE about her. She is feisty – she won’t take crap off of anybody. She doesn’t provoke you, but she will certainly stand up for herself. She is sarcastic – let’s be honest. In the Ward clan, this is a MUST. You can’t be of Ward genealogy if you can’t muster up a few sarcastic/witty lines when prompted by mere mortals. In fact, I must say that I am certainly impressed that Kayli was voted “Most Sarcastic” her senior year! (As did our elder brother.) Needless to say, in our family, sarcasm is prominent. She is bold and brave – She tries new things and works towards her goals. She has accomplished so much in just a short time. From acquiring two degrees: Accounting & Finance, to moving to Athens, to taking on a job, and meeting new people. She always excels in what she puts her mind to: cheerleading, dance, studies, work – she is truly admirable. (She has won countless national championships while on her college dance team – SAY WHAT!) But most of all – she is loyal. I couldn’t tell you how much I love this woman, or how much I trust her. I know that she will always be there for me, and that she will always tell me like it is (hopefully with a little bit of sarcasm). I love being around her, and I love how much we laugh when we’re together. She is hilarious, witty, and BEAUTIFUL. And my favorite thing: she is MY sister. :) So Happy Birthday Beautiful! I can’t believe you’re 25!
