When I was around 8 years old I was almost abducted. My dad was a boat builder and I was wearing a t-shirt that said Paige M. on the back thats what he named the first boat he built. I was walking home and was right at the beginning of my street. A man pulled up next to me in a big car and black suit wearing black sunglasses with a crewcut and said hi Paige Im a friend of your fathers hop in and Ill give you a ride home. I knew right away that this was no friend of my dads. My dad was an ironworker I dont even think he knew anybody that wore a suit. My little legs flew through the field and over the fence into my neighbors backyard. I never looked back just kept on movin. Scary to think about this now. Im always reminded of this when I see kids with their names on their shirts.
