When I was little girl my grandfather would take me to work with him on Saturday if he had to go into his office. He worked for Continental Trailways in Washington DC. I clearly remember the awful smell of the diesel fuel in the terminal. It always gave me a headache. I did love going with him though. Being able to run all over and play on all the big busses. Being able to get hot dogs from the street vendors and spending the day with my Grandaddy. I was also able to do some travelling. Back then, I may have been 6 or 7 and they would put me on a bus, alone, and send me to New York City to visit relatives. I thought nothing of it. Nowadays I wouldnt dream of it. The world has changed a lot since then and not really for the better. Just a thought for tonight....
