When I was maybe 4 years old, I crawled beneath our back porch with a big blanket and for hours watched a summer thunderstorm... I was comfy, safe and warm and the cloud to cloud lightning was awesome. It had to have been very influential if almost 55 years later I still recall that fantastic event. I realize that there is danger.. but so is skydiving, river rapids, and surfing. We each have our own special things that create awe and emotion.. mine is mother natures light show!
