When I was younger and I am nearly 52, the big fears were nuclear attack from Communist states, also the blackout of information from China, Russia, Cuba etc, where we were told human rights were withdrawn and the media controlled everything that happened in these countries. We were fed lies. These peoples were downtrodden by a superior elite who proclaimed they were in power for all of the people and knew what the people thought and wanted. Pure and utter lies coming from these countries. Equate that to the Scottish Referendum, we have an elite Government in Westminster who is controlling the media, controlling every piece of information and as I type this I know this is being flagged because of the delay, a Government who want to repeal the Human Rights Act to further destroy the disabled and poor, a Government who have created poverty not seen since the Victorian times and a Government who are desperate to hang on to Scotland for our natural resources at all costs. Then they come, like marauding saviours offering powers. Then they get caught out. There is no legislation to guarantee this will happen. The UK has no Constitution, no rules, they can ride all over us through the elitist Chambers of Power. A free and Independent Scotland will have a Constitution, where it lays the power in the hands of the people who will decide which party they want in power and most importantly your vote will matter. That Constitution is the most important piece of legislation you will ever see as it will protect you from policies such as the Bedroom Tax , Poll Tax, Disability Sanctions and will protect the Human Rights Act. Because if we do not agree we can vote them out. Not based on disproportionate UK boundaries and population advantages. It is time for the parties to reinvent themselves away from Westminster for a fairer society for all. Therefore serious thought should be behind your vote, not who is leading any campaign but by the sincerity of who are giving you fair and unpolluted information. Otherwise we are just like the China, Russia and other countries of old that we all complained about but could do nothing to stop it until the people took over in 1989 and changed it through the fall of the Iron Curtain. Think seriously folks, it is you and your childrens future.
