When I work with photographers, I act on the word collaborate, - TopicsExpress

When I work with photographers, I act on the word collaborate, which means: —verb (used without object), col·lab·o·rat·ed, col·lab·o·rat·ing. To work, one with another; cooperate, as on a literary work: I plan shoots with my ideas and visions in mind. I bring stuff to the table with my styling, etc. I am in control of my image and brand, therefore, I expect to be credited for such. I dont leave the photographer to do all of the work. That is not what embodies a collaboration. Unless the photographer has clearly expressed a desire to execute a particular concept/vision of theirs, I will have one. If I am modeling a photographers vision, I will do my part in making sure my styling and makeup fits their desire. And, I will also be sure to study the style they want so I can bring it to life effectively and artistically. My work as a model is never done. So, Im not here to make anyone do it for me.
