When I worked for our little town paper, I went for every used car dealer in my territory to get them to advertise with us. One of them had a dog as their mascot. We never heard from them despite a sincere interest, and I left the company. I believe Ive been catching their reason why they never followed up... a la TV. Its in a commercial in the form of a stocky 40ish looking guy in 80s faded jeans singing and dancing around about getting you into a car when your credit is whack whacked Just knowing he sings in a band on the weekends makes me smile!
