When Israel was scattered in 70 AD by the Romans, the same rules apply. The sabbatical count has stopped and can’t begin again until God’s covenant people return to the land and the walls of protection are established. Well, God’s people began to return in 1948 AD and recently a new wall around Jerusalem has been completed, so the preconditions are now set for the resumption of the counting and the start of the 70th week, the final shabua. When this final 7 years complete, this will finish the last set of 7 ‘sevens’ (7 weeks of years = 49 years) and usher in the 10th Jubilee, the Grand Jubilee trumpeting the return of Messiah.This means Daniels’ 70th Week as begun now! The primary perspective of the Bible is that God is declaring and allocating 6,000 years for our current cycle which described to end 2016 ?
