When Jennifer Lopez first went to Hollywood and wanted to become an actress, dancer and singer, she was refused her break. Women of colour are naturally-endowed and skinny was Hollywoods way of making black and brown women insecure. Now, because of her, Queen Latifah and Oprah, however you look, fat or skinny, you can look in the mirror and sing, Im beautiful and I know it, Im beautiful beyond what you eyes can see, Im beautiful and there is no explanation
