When Jesus went to the cross, an exchange was made. He took on poverty, to make us rich. He took on sickness, that we would have perfect health. Our sins were laid upon him and those sins put all his bones out of joint. He took on all of our pain. He was marred more than any man because of our sin. He went to hell for us; to the lowest pit. The wrath of God laid upon him there. He didnt stop praising the Father because he knew he would bring him out. The Father saw his pain and was satisfied that the price had been paid for our sins; for us. On that third day, God worked in Jesus the power that raised him from the dead where he makes intercession for those that are being conformed to his image. Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. That exchange happened when God raised Jesus from the dead. Believe in your heart that God raised Jesus from the dead and confess him Lord and youll be saved. Here is a song from The Disciples, a group my dad sang in when I was a kid.
