When Obamacare included the language that required people to pay into the health insurance plan or pay a penalty, the republicans, mainly the TeaPublicans, screamed bloody murder, and the conservative SCOTUS even ruled it as a tax, which caused the TeaPublicans to yell even louder. Now, Governor Mike Pence insists that the poorest Hoosiers pay into a health savings plan or risk getting booted off the program, and we hear.... Crickets. Pence says Healthy Indiana 2.0 is different than Medicaid or Obamacare because, Pence has touted the program as better than traditional Medicaid because of its emphasis on personal responsibility. The ENTIRE Affordable Care Act was based on personal responsibility and the republicans have tried to repeal it over 50 times...many of those times, Gov. Pence was leading the charge on Fox News, but now as our Governor, well... Complete hypocrisy. For those in the educational realm, its kind of like our new standards which are exactly like Common Core, but Gov. Pence rejected CC in favor of something else which looks like CC. Its really hard to keep track of the games this guy plays.
