When William Wilberforce and the famous Clapham sect rose up to - TopicsExpress

When William Wilberforce and the famous Clapham sect rose up to oppose slave trade in the then decadent Great Britain, no one gave them a chance to succeed. Less than there decades after, these men, propelled by their faith and belief that all men are created equal, brought slave trade - the most lucrative industry in their time - on its knees. People who are determined can make difference in their nation, South African saw the end of apartheid because they are determine. Nigerians should be able and can see the end of the wasteful, tyranny, wicked and corrupt government of the day if we are determine, resolute and purposeful enough to change the current tides and rewrite the history. We are where we are today because citizen are docile and relax on the face of obvious danger. We must unite in our fight against bad governance, tyranny, wickedness, oppression, subjugation and corruption. As long as we chased out military, how come we just relax and allow men who are blind to lead us and complain to men who are deaf. Our youths went for employment and they met death face to face because of the failure of government and people went home as if nothing happen, if it were other climes protest and mass action would have started from there. Government keep taken advantage of the citizens because we dont question them, we dont hold them and make them accountable. Egyptians have shown us that sovereignty belongs to the people and it has not changed.
