When a Christian makes a mistake or falls into sin, it is just a healthy thing to have a reasonable amount of guilt or shame or remorse. Remorse will lead one to repentance. Guilt is a good sign that there is still hope for reconciliation with God. And once you have truly repented and placed that sin under the Blood of Jesus, you need to move on with your walk with God.
