When i hear Benjamino Gigli here in a duet with the clarinet, i think of my beloved father, born 1899! He played classical clarinet, before i was born in 1944, but stopped with it before i could hear him. Through politics, his work and a marriage with two children in a hard time, he decided to stop with the clarinet. After his dead in 1971, i found first prices my father had won in concourses with pieces as the clarinet concert of Mozart. Why father you didnt let me hear you.........
