When my husband and I made the decision not to vaccinate, we did - TopicsExpress

When my husband and I made the decision not to vaccinate, we did so based on extensive study regarding vaccines and our choices. We read all the books (from both sides), watched countless lectures, and poured over the studies (or lack thereof). My husbands background is in biology, chemistry, research, and medicine. Mine is in alternative medicine and law. Not a single decision we have made as parents has been founded upon something other than God, science, and common sense and when it came down to it, we could not support a practice that from a biblical standpoint is questionable, from a scientific perspective fails to meet the standards of evidenced-based medicine, and from a common sense perspective...makes no sense. Despite what you have heard, many highly educated individuals including those in the medical profession and scientific community agree. Yes, they are in the minority (and are heavily pressured not to speak out), just like the doctors who first said smoking was bad and that failing to wash your hands could infect others, and that children should not be treated with heroin and arsenic. But, arent we glad they did? If youre looking for some good information, check out these skype lectures by Dr. Tetyana Obukhanych (author of Vaccine Illusion) who has a Ph.D. in Immunology. She lectures on all things vaccines.
