When problems or temptations arise, James expressed that we should be joyful “knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing” (James 1:3–4). Furthermore, the trying of our faith will determine helps us to endure to keep focus on passing the test of our lifetime. Paul cautioned the followers in his generation that “all who will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution” (2 Timothy 3:12). When persecution comes, we are not to be perturbed, bearing in mind that God sent his only begotten Son, who suffered and died on the cross so that everyone who believes on him can obtain the promise of eternal life. Let us endure every day and keep focus on our reward of inheritance. “The Lord is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeketh him. Seek the Lord, and ye shall live. Seek him that maketh the seven stars and Orion, and turneth the shadow of death into the morning, and maketh the day dark with night: that calleth for the waters of the sea, and poureth them out upon the face of the earth: The Lord is his name” (Amos 5:6, 8) It is good that we should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the Lord (Lamentations 3:25–26), because one day Jesus will return before the end. At the end of time, the Bible has revealed, “All nations whom thou hast made shall come and worship before thee, O Lord; and shall glorify thy name” (Psalm 86:9). “Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand” (Daniel 12:10).
