When roses mean goodbye, and the sun sets in the sea, When sinking eyes give way to the eternal sleep, When the millstones slowly pull you to drown deeper, When the bubbles stop rising from the water surface, When looking beyond the obvious world seems possible, When the silent breath requires no more air, When the bird flies free out of the window, When the tears dry down and and cries fade out, When the bonds lose their meanings and memories remain, When the wooden cover closes with a golden lock on it, When life hides itself in a shining, gleaming coffin, When earth beneath the feet rises above the head, When the silence fills the ears as if it cannot take more, When the clouds roar and pour their tears, When rain grows moss on an old earthy grave. Someone would come to keep a promise. To light a candle, to burn a thread, to break the strings.
