When she first arrived she was basically a feral dog. She had no understanding of a kind hand and she had no interest in us coming near her. We had to start from scratch with a small light line tied to her just so we could catch her when we needed to. All of us have spent countless hours touching her, holding her, talking to her, feeding her and reassuring her. This is what she looks like today, you can see that she loves me just by observing her excitement, but now after a little coaxing she will in fact come to us freely making her own decisions to do so. When I watched this video back it made me cry, when you are in the thick of it every day you never lose your composure for the sake of the animal. They need you to be as stable as possible at all times but when I could see it after the fact all of the work comes flooding back to you and seeing this little friendly tail wagging little girl come up for me to touch her and bring my hands up over her body is just incredible. https://youtube/watch?v=uL8MZjzWS1M
