This is the wattage your amp will continuously put out, PEAK wattage is what it MIGHT do if it was struck by lighting and somehow got enuf power to push that out. same with subs. that RMS power is what they will handle continuously. Getting an amp or sub thats rated in peak isnt a bad thing.
