When someone tells me about their T-25 experience, 1 out of every 2 say, Its a great workout, but I had to modify. Okay, here is what you folks need to hear. Modifying IS working out. If you were 100% in tip top shape, youd be knocking those workouts like Shaun T, but 99% of the time, we got this workout to get in shape. But more importantly, this workout is about getting your heart rate UP UP UP UP. So, if Suzy Q can get her heart rate at its max by doing modifications than -- perfect! If Suzy Q modifies and her heart rate is not high, then she needs to UP her performance. Understanding the benefit and effectiveness of T-25 and the concept of heart rate zones is huge, not if you modified or not. The reality is, that the best way to lose weight, and keep it off, is to burn as many calories as possible during your workout, and your heart rate will tell you if you are working. Moving that body for 25 mins nonstop is intense, no matter which person you are following. So, instead of saying.... But, I had to modify say, I got the job done and NAILED IT!
