When the Hilton moved into town (130 E Seneca, @Tioga St, opened August 2005), city officials at the time gave this corporation our public sidewalk, so they could store their shuttle vans--but because they have this curb cut there isnt parking allowed on the street. With the new Sidewalk Improvement District, it would be great if we could have our sidewalk back, and not force the pedestrians to walk onto private property to access the city sidewalk on the other side of the hotel. The city could allow the hotel van parking to be on the street, so nothing would be lost for the hotel.
