When the challenges of this life hit in a manner that leaves you needing a wise soul to confide in, receive sound advice from, and tell you that youre on the right track, or just to suck it up, only to be reminded of the reality that the one youve trusted most in this life is dead and gone. The one that has been by my side since birth is no longer near. That daily reminder is like a kick to the teeth and sand in the eyes. I miss the wisest man I knew. I cant help but feel lost without him. However, I am thankful that my Father in heaven is always near. Thou art near, oh Lord; and all thy commandments are truth. Psalm 119:151
