When u go into any battles full of pretence, I bet u, u r bound to lose!! Be yourself!! Even when you plan and plot to prevent any predicament to befall you, if God has allowed it to happen, you cant run away from it...no matter how clever or smart you are....if God has planned that you be defeated in a battle...you really fall!! On my mind is the King of Israel, Ahab!! 1 Kings 22:30-37---The King of Israel said to Jehosaphat, I will enter the battle in DISGUISE (he put on wrong garments--PRETENCE--- to trick the enemy), but you wear your royal robes (proper garments--TRUE SELF). So the King of Israel disguised himself and went into battle. Now the King of Aram (King of Israels enemy) had ordered his thirty two chariot commanders, Do not fight with anyone, small or great, except the King of Israel. (The instruction was to fight the King of Israel..but not to identify him by his stature..but as the King of Israel). When the chariot commanders saw Jehosaphat (who wore royal robes), they THOUGHT, surely this is the King of Israel. (In any battle, make sure u identify properly your enemy and not just out of what you see from the outside/physical eyes...Go spiritual!! Or you may miss your target!! So they turned to attack him but when Jehoshaphat cried out, the chariot commanders saw that he was not the King of Israel and stopped pursuing him (so, they had to ascertain that this was not their target from the VOICE...Be attentive in any battle!! U will easily identify whether one is ur enemy or not from the VOICE ). BUT SOMEONE drew his bow at random and hit the king of Israel between the sections of his armour.....so the King died....(SOMEONE OUT OF THE BLUES...who wasnt even among the perceived/expected Commanders is the one who eliminated the King of Israel, Ahab!) Shaaa!! Yet he thought he had disguised himself...KNOCKED BY A BOW DRAWN AT RANDOM!! Sho! Sho! The unexpected happened!! Never play with God! What he has planned, no matter what tactics you employ to avoid Gods plans, those tactics will never succeed! Eyetu!!
