When we arent busy doing TNR to help reduce the feral cat - TopicsExpress

When we arent busy doing TNR to help reduce the feral cat population, WISH volunteers can be found transferring special needs kitties and kitties up for euthanasia from shelters/rescues around Wisconsin. We then give them proper medical care, LOTS of TLC and then tuck them into foster homes until theyre ready for adoption. One of our latest little arrivals is Java! Sweet Java was transferred from MADACC a little over a week ago. Dr. Melissa from American Animal Hospital believes she may have Cerebellar Hypoplasia. To make a donation towards Javas care, and to help us save more special needs kitties like Java, Nigel, Kate and Malia, please visit our website and click on the donate button. wishuponapaw.org/home/donate Cerebellar Hypoplasia is a disorder where the cerebellum of the brain has not fully formed. There are various causes such as bacterial or viral infections, feline panleukopenia, caused by feline parvovirus, but can also be caused by poisoning, injury or malnutrition. Some common symptoms are jerky movement, wobbly uncoordinated walking and head bobbing. There is no cure for CH.
