When we fostered Chippy from the Collie Rescue I had no idea how deeply that little man would effect my heart. When we lost him it took such a large piece of my heart I dont think it will ever heal from that. I loved him so much. I was cleaning out an old box from the attic when I came across this poem for years ago: No matter how deep my sleep is I shall hear you and not all the power of death can keep my spirit from wagging a grateful tail. oh little Chippy I miss you so! Even though we have 4 members of our dog pack this year....this one hit me the hardest.
