When we think of the Trinity we think, Father, Son, and Holy - TopicsExpress

When we think of the Trinity we think, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. However the Bible never directly speaks of there being a trinity of holy beings that are all manifestations of God. If we want to be more accurate we might as well say that everything is technically a manifestation of God as it says in Ephesians 4:6. Are Father and Son any different? Jesus didnt seem to think so. He repeatedly told his disciples that he and the Father were one. So does that completely destroy the concept of Trinity in the Bible? Nope! In fact the Trinity as spoken of by Ernest Holmes lines up with both scripture, science, and philosophy. Here it is summed up: Man is a piece of the Father. He is a piece of God. True man is conscious and able to think and perceive. In the same way, the Father is conscious and he thinks and perceives. But there is a part of man that still thinks, yet unconsciously. We call this the subconscious, and it is programmed to act by itself by the thoughts of the conscious mind. In the same way, the Spirit of God encompasses all laws of the universe and runs automatically as the force and power behind all things. The universe is programmed to run on an automatic process, this is the Law and the Spirit. Lastly, man has a body. What happens in the body is the physical manifestation of what has been programmed into the unconscious mind. Matter comes from and reacts to changes in energy and forces (learn quantum physics). So now we see that God is 3 parts. Conscious Mind, Natural Laws, and Physical Manifestation. First comes the conscious mind. It is before all things and without it there is nothing else. Next comes the Laws set up by conscious mind. Without it there would be no way to balance the universe. And finally there is the physical manifestation. Without it, there would be no experience. Maybe now we can finally understand John 1 when it says: In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through him, and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life, and the life was the light of men. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it. And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth. For from his fullness we have all received, grace upon grace. For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ. No one has ever seen God; the only God, who is at the Fathers side, he has made him known.
