When you change your clocks on Sunday, March 9, dont forget to change your smoke detector and carbon monoxide detector batteries as well. A properly installed and maintained smoke detector is designed to alert you and your family to a fire 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Remember also to check your smoke detector and carbon monoxide detector batteries at least once per month throughout the year to ensure they are working properly.
