When you consider the story of Lot, you notice that he consistently made errors of judgement. It is important to understand that these errors are going to happen. But it is the consistency of them which is critical. I see holiness as the action of the Holy Spirit in the believer over time and obedience. We must champion the value of obedience again. Part of this is good decision making. I have recognised that we can become so fearful of making bad decisions that we inevitably continue to make them. I have also recognised that if I am willing to learn, the Holy Spirit will teach me and help me avoid the consistent error making creeping into my life. Dont be afraid. God is your provider and while your decisions can help that process they cannot stop it because failure is not permanent in the Kingdom-rule of God.
