When you have cancer, after the chemo and radiation and the hopeful doctor tells you that you are cancer free (Thats a joke...anyone who has had cancer knows that cancer will always be an albatross around your neck...you are never free of the memory and the fear) you are scheduled for followup appointments with lab work. The lab work of course is done to see if there is anything that might indicate your old friend is back and bigger than ever. This morning I went to get my lab results...I am sure this is exactly how the defendant in the murder trial feels when he stands to hear the judge read the verdict....especially if it is Texas and he knows that death may await him. So you get the results, and you jump around, and kiss the lab girl, and hug the stranger in the hall, and go home singing. Well the jurys verdict today was not guilty (and Im still singing).....only 3 more months until the next trial. Love you guys....I know it is the prayers from you that result in me being found innocent. Thank you....thank you very much.
