When you have some extra time, watch todays edition of (my favorite show) Democracy Now, which they reported live from the United Nations Conference on Climate Change in Warsaw. Im posting this video due to the heartbreaking tornadoes that struck Illinois on Sunday and the typhoon in the Philipines almost two weeks ago, not too mention a multitude of other recent natural disasters - here in the United States we need to recognize that we are one of the largest contributors, if not the largest contributor affecting climate change and we need to take action. We all can make a difference - take the train instead of driving, recycle, turn off lights, walk if a mile or less, etc. The sad part in all of this is that our generation will not feel the brunt of our impact, but our children and their children definitely will...unless we make a conscious effort to make an immediate change.
