When you hear them saying zamboanga is not a peaceful place that is wrong. . Zamboanga is the only place in the Philippines where you can say if youre in that place you seem to be in another country such as Mexico city. It is a lovely place and beautiful people,you can see beautiful muslim women with a very beautiful skin,mestiza chavacanos and handsome muslim guys and so chavacanos.when you stayed in zamboanga you will be addressed as zamboangueños. Zamboangueños from the city of zamboanga del sur and del norte. But city of zamboanga speaks chavacanos as well as basileños Zamboanga city is the barter trade capital..mixed settlers and have diff dialects bisaya,ilongo,tausug but majority is chavacanos. They speak broken spanish as we identify it. E.g bien bonita (very beautiful) Gracias (thank you) Similar dialect to mexicans. Native zamboangueños can be easily identified because of their look which look like mexicans and very spanish looking (latin) and they seem like singing when they talk chavacano. When you go shopping you will not get tired because bazaars are just a step away to each other so easy to compare prices. This information is to bring awareness to those who do not know about our Place.. this is one thing I am sure about is People in zamboanga love and respect each other. Islam and Christian work hard to have a better relationship... If you go to the famous miracle shrine of Mama mary del.pilar. U can see muslim brothers and sister do sell candles and some of them believe that the virgin mary is miraculous. Now donot say that because Mnlf destroy zamboanga and because theyre muslims,muslims are the same. Of course not. MNLF ARE MUSLIMS BUT ARE NOT ISLAM.muslims connotes ethnicity and is compose of different tribes but believe in one religion which is Islam. But it doesnt mean you are islam youre an islam.as far as I know that if you are real islam you were thought what is right to love and to treat equal. The problem in mindanao particularly to muslim dominated areas such as jolo sulu and tawi2x is unfairness and injustice.the problem arises when xtian outside that zone identify muslim and generalize that theyre the baddest and the Traitors..admit it or not they were discriminations... Just a heads up where their sentiments came from for every zamboangueños and nearby provinces will understand and also the government too. Philippines was owned by the sultan of brunei,we were ruled by his cousins until spanish came..philippine was never discovered by magellan because barter trading among chinese already existed before magellan came..we grew up fed by wrong information by our historians but check the history of Singapore,indonesia,malaysia and brunei you will see the truth in there.. After the colonization julu sulu and tawi tawi was never part of it so it means never part of the muslim won against all colonizers but it was so unfortunate that during independence suddenly that mentioned areas was already part of the philippine government when in fact it wasnt. This people is fighting for their ancestral domain which is the only thing they have among the 7100 island..they were discriminated.cant land a very decent job in metro manila or to growing cities. Julu sulu and tawi tawi are rich in natural resources.good contributor when it comes taxes because of their population is small the return of budget is very small. Tell it to your forehead the government especially.they work hard to have the largest export for bananas and some crops and seafoods..and the return for them wasnt prioritize for the pork barrel...greedy politicians is the reason why some muslims turned to be guerillas. If you cant understand why they fought and the only thing to do is act of terrorism because muslim outreach it to families who have nothing.. Most of the muslims are intelligent but after they graduated with flying colors they will not land a very good job because of discrimnation so Unfair instead they will use their brains to be heard. Im not a muslim but I know where their sentiments came from and for muslim who donot know about why your relatives and grandparents and uncles fight for their right because of this. Sad to say that the target of their attack is a peaceful place because they wanted to be heard but unfortunately even zamboanga was not the president priority that until now he ddnt declare state pf emergency because the emergency fund will be use which no more funds at all.. To make the story short. Government tactics Government is losing because of the recent typhoon maring the calamity fund were used including emergency funds Now because of this pork barrel issue they need to outsource fund to cover up stolen money of the people.obviously call the head and you question why zamboanga because zamboanga is bankcrupt and yet no fund from the gover to finance the city cause the income of the city which we all know that zambo city is the largest contributor of taxes from the sardines company and eco zone. But again money should be given back to the city goes to this corrupt officials. Sad to know that this innocent settlers in zamboanga are being used to their drama not just them but also to stupid guerillas and innoccent militaries and the only person who will enjoy the aid from U.N are the politicians and nur misuari.the war wont stop until they will receive the full aid outside the country.. Yes we now accept this tactics but pls before you do this Sana naman po maawa kayo sa mga sundalo na walang pagkain o kahit energy drink man lng ilang araw na po silang walang tulog.just to protect the citizens.. Im calling everyone in zamboanga to those who have please extend help to our soldiers they need immediate assistance to sustain their strength. And to people around the philippines please help the evacuees to extend food.the trauma of small children is diff from floods and typhoon.
